Does being an extrovert or introvert define your personality? Well, is it as simple as falling into one of the two category: Would you rather stay at home lazing in your bed on a Friday night being comfy or hanging out with your friends? OR Would you rather steal the limelight for attention or be as far away as possible?

Introverts
4 types of introverts — social, thinking, anxious and restrained. 

#1       Social introvert
Prefer to be alone at home or only go out with a few of  your best buddies rather than partying with a many people.

Self-care tips for social introverts:
  • Take some alone time to recharge energy.
  • Don’t overexert yourself just to make others happy.
  • Always allocate some time away from all the noise after a long day of events.
  • Always keep in touch with your family or a small group of friends who understands and accepts you for the way you are.

#2       Thinking Introvert
Reflect on how you feel and delight in your make-believe world, losing yourself in the dreamy imagination

Self-care tips for thinking introverts:
  • Don’t overexert your thoughts just to make others happy.
  • Allocate time away from all the noise.
  • Keep in touch with family or a small group of friends who understands and accepts you for the way you are.

#3       Anxious Introvert
Awkward and self-conscious around people as may not be confident or comfortable with social skills

Self-care tips for Anxious introverts:
  • Prioritize well-being and practice mindfulness
  • Open up for support and reassurance
  • Take note of situation that makes you anxious

#4       Restrained Introvert
Take time to warm up, gather your thoughts and observe before speaking.

Self-care tips for Anxious introverts:
  • Have alone time with coffee or tea to destress
  • Speak slowly with pauses
  • Avoid isolating yourself 

Extroverts
types of extroverts — Extroverted Sensors (ES), Extroverted Intuitors (EN) , Extroverted Feelers (E_F), Extroverted Thinkers (E_T)

Extroverted sensors are often adventurous and the greatest risk takers. Because they have a tendency to get bored easily when they’re not doing something, they have a penchant for new experiences, which includes socializing and meeting new people.
Examples of extroverted sensors are ESTJs, ESTPs, ESFJs, and ESFPs.

Extroverted intuitors enjoy searching into abstract ideas and focusing on the what-if’s and possibilities, rather than what is actually present. 
Examples of extroverted intuitors are ENTJs, ENTPs, ENFJs, and ENFPs.

#* E_F
Passionate about forming new connections when they participate in social events. They are very accommodating and always look out for others, making sure everyone is happy. Extroverted feelers are excellent conversationalists and can adapt to both small talk and deep conversations.
 Examples of extroverted feelers are ENFJs, ENFPs, ESFJs, and ESFPs.

Extroverted thinkers are business-like and participate in social events for the networking opportunities they provide. They get energy from being able to climb up the social ladder every chance they get. 
Examples of extroverted thinkers are ENTJs, ESTJs, ENTPs, and ESTPs.

Extroverts
  1. Outgoing & optimistic - happy, positive, cheerful, and sociable. Not likely to dwell on problems or ponder difficulties. 
  2. Many group of friends - Make new friends easily and enjoy getting to engage with others
  3. Flexible - Adaptable to any situation and being innovative when problem arise
  4. Risk taker - Daring to try and will be rewarded when succeed

Introvert
  1. Good listeners - listen before they speak, watch from the sidelines and take some mental notes before they insert themselves into any social situation.
  2. Self-Sufficient - Independent and can manage any curve ball that life might throw at them
  3. Focused - make a point of paying attention to nonverbal cues that might reveal hidden meanings
  4. Observant - changes in environment very quickly
  5. Trustworthy - know how hard it can be to trust somebody, so they won’t share a personal detail if you don’t want them to. 
  6. Committed to goals - driven and disciplined

Sometimes, an introvert friend could do something that you'll never expect them which keeps your bond connected once they trust and confide in you as the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover" keeping friendship valuable is what matters!
